Privacy & sovereignty
Synthetic BrAIn is local-first by design. Most of what you do never leaves your device — not as a setting you have to find, but as the way the product is built.
What stays on your device
- Your prompts, chats, and the AI outputs you receive.
- Your memory and everything the Brain remembers for you.
- The files and folders you work with.
- Your profile and settings.
- API keys you enter for providers (kept in your device's secure store).
You can export or delete this data on your device at any time.
What we actually receive
Very little, and only to run licences and support:
- Account basics (name, username, email, language, country) if you create an account.
- Purchase/licence records from our payment providers, so we can issue and validate your licence — not your full card details.
- Support messages you send us.
- Basic technical data needed for update checks and licence validation. Optional analytics are disclosed and off by default.
We do not collect your conversations, we do not train on your data, and we do not sell your data.
When data does leave your device
Only when you send it:
- A model provider you connect (BYOK) — your prompt goes to that provider under their privacy policy. See Models & BYOK.
- A messaging channel — messages pass through that platform. See Messaging channels.
Your rights
Because most of your information lives on your device, you can already access, export, and delete it directly in the app. For the limited data we hold, you can request access, correction, deletion, or export — see the Privacy Policy for how.
Sovereignty here is concrete: you own your memory and data, you own your agency, and you own your choice of model. Allive-BrAIn doesn't make any single model neutral — it makes you free of any single model.
